State's Attorney's Office Commemorates National Victims' Rights Week, April 26-May 1, 2009(2)

To commemorate National Victims’ Rights Week, April 26-May 1, the Howard County State’s Attorney’s Office will hold an open house for crime victims, their families and friends, from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the State’s Attorney’s offices in Ellicott City. The event will be held in the Grand Jury Hearing Room located on the second floor of the Carroll Building at 3450 Courthouse Drive. Light refreshments will be served.
During National Victims’ Rights Week, criminal justice agencies and organizations dedicated to assisting victims of crime join together to promote greater public awareness of the rights and needs of crime victims. Howard County State’s Attorney Dario J. Broccolino will lead this annual observance that focuses on remembrance, hope and healing.
