Howard County’s annual July 4th Festival will be held on Friday, July 4 beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront. Hosted by Howard County Government this year, the festival features entertainment on two stages, strolling performances, “Stars & Stripes” games and activities for the whole family. Bring a picnic or purchase food from one of the vendors on site. The fireworks go off at 9:30 p.m., choreographed to patriotic music. Parking is free.
