OWD focuses on helping job seekers obtain employment in order to meet their individual career goals. At OWD we understand that finding the right job may be challenging, so the better prepared you are, the more chances you have of finding the right one. To assist job seekers with that process, our trained workforce professionals are available to offer the following comprehensive services:

If You've Been Laid Off or Are Unemployed

OWD’s priority is to help individuals become re-employed. Our workforce consultants can meet with you to help you determine your career path or provide you with career counseling—- You may even be eligible for training that will upgrade your current skills and give you the competitive edge you need to compete in today’s workforce.

Youth

Want to get your GED? OWD’s Youth Coordinator is available to assist eligible youth ages (14-21) get back on track with their education and employment goals. Our program focuses on empowering youth to achieve. Contact our Youth Coordinator at 410-313-6172 to schedule a consultation.

Hire a Veteran!

Our partnership with the Maryland Department of Labor Licensing & Regulation gives us direct access to Veteran Workforce Specialists. Because our specialist are former military and are trained in veteran services, they are well equipped to assist you with your specific employment needs. Disability Services

At OWD, our Disability Navigator focuses on enhancing employment, increasing job retention and promoting career development for individuals with disabilities.
