FY2008 Approved User Fees and Charges
The User Fees & Charges book provides a comprehensive look at the various fees and charges Howard County levies on businesses and citizens for services received from the County. Eaxmples of the items included in this book are the fees and charges for development services, athletic field reservations, red light camera violations, solicitor/peddler fees, and many others.

Economic Indicators
The Howard County, Maryland Economic Indicators is an award-winning quarterly report that is an excellent example of public/private partnership. Each quarter the most recent economic data about the County and the region is presented with insightful commentary from local business leaders.

Monthly Revenue Estimates Report
Monthly Revenue Estimates is a monthly report tracking the progress of the ten (10) largest general fund revenue sources for the County. Planned, Previous Year and Current Budget Year data is reflected.

Spending Affordability Committee Report
The Spending Affordability Committee Report is the annual report issued by the Spending Affordability Advisory Committee recommending to the County Executive the level of new county debt for the upcoming fiscal year. Spending Affordability Committees have been presenting such reports to the County Executive since the late 1980's.

Revenue Manual
The Revenue Manual provides a brief description of the revenues used in developing the Howard County operating budget. Revenues are arranged by fund and in account number order. The largest group of revenues are for the General Fund, the primary operating fund for Howard County Government. This manual is not updated yearly--this is the 2006 Update.
