INSPECTIONS / REINSPECTIONS

The Department of Inspections, Licenses and Permits prepares reinspection fees notices on the following:

Building Permits
Electrical Permits
HVAC Permits
Plumbing Permits
Fire Protection Permits

Reinspection fees are automatically assessed for two or more failures of the same inspection type according to the following schedule:

1. Two failures (of the same inspection type) - $50
2. Three failures-$75
3. Four or more failures-$125

A Reinspection Fee Notice will be mailed to the contractor or licensed professional.

No further required inspections will occur until the reinspection fee has been paid.

Fees must be paid in person or by mail at the Department of Inspections, Licenses and Permits, George Howard Building, 3430 Courthouse Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21043.
