Come Home to Howard County Housing Fair

Howard County Executive Ken Ulman and Howard County Housing are pleased to share with you the success of our first three Come Home to Howard County Housing Fairs which first began in 2007.

These events celebrated the many benefits of living in Howard County and attracted well over 1,000 participants. These fairs are a FREE opportunity to learn everything you need to know about renting, buying or fixing up a home in Howard County! Participants met with housing and real estate experts, attended home buyer education sessions, discovered area communities on our narrated bus tours, met with various county departments and won fabulous prizes.

At each fair we have featured housing lottery drawings, where eligible participants have had the opportunity to purchase homes valued as high as $450,000 for less than $200,000. Eight new home owners have already been created through these ground-breaking events, and you could be our next lucky homeowner at our next lottery drawing!
