HOWARD COUNTY SECTION 8 PUBLIC NOTICE

HEARING NOTICE FOR AMENDMENTSTO THE SECTION 8 ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN

NOVEMBER 18, 2003, 6:00 P.M.

Notice is hereby given of a public hearing to be conducted by the Howard County Housing Commission regarding the CLOSING OF ALL WAITING LISTS FOR PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF 60. Effective with the publishing of this notice, the waiting list will be temporarily “frozen”. Applications for the waiting list will no longer be accepted from persons under the age of 60 effective with this notice, pending a final vote by the Housing Commission immediately following the public hearing. The hearing will be held at the Gateway Building, 5th Floor Executive Conference Room, 6751 Columbia Gateway Drive in Columbia Maryland.

All persons desiring input regarding this decision are welcome to appear at the public hearing in person to voice their opinions or concerns on the proposed change in the Administrative Plan, or they may address their comments to the Howard County Housing Commission at 6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia, MD 21046.
