Disabilities Services provides information,case management, referral and assistance for housing, transportation, employment and improved access to public facilities for people with disabilities.
Disabilities Services Information and Referral Network provides coordination of available community resources for citizens who have a disability.
Deaf and Hard of Hearing Citizens - For assistance with all services provided by Disabilities Services, call the Disabilities Services office on MD Relay or 410-313-6401 (TTY) to schedule an appointment to ensure availability of staff proficient in American Sign Language (ASL).

The Commission on Disability Issues was established by County legislation and represents persons with disabilities, service providers and the community at large. It advises County Government on compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act and the impact of public budgets, policies and programs. The Commission has fifteen members, eight of whom have disabilities. Members are appointed by the County Executive and approved by the County Council. The Commission on Disabilities Issues meets on the third Monday of the month.
